Thursday evening things kick off at Ulverston Sports and
Social Club where we are the guests of South
Lakes Music Promotions for a concert featuring Tom McConville and Dave
Wood
Friday night consists of an informal gathering in The Red
Rose Club in Ulverston town centre in the form of a Cumbrian "merry
neet" with dance, song, stories and entertainments from guests and
locals alike to get the weekend off to a fine start.
Saturday - the main festival day: we take to the streets
in Ulverston town centre with music, traditional crafts and dance displays.
Various performances and trade stalls are based in the town’s Coronation
Hall. A number of local pubs hold informal sessions during the day.
In the evening the Coronation Hall is the venue for the main festival concert
and dance.
