New EFDSS events this year: We will be hosting a showing of rare archive film from the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library collection
Alan Bell will be presenting a vision, talk & sound show on Ann G Gilchrist entitled "Cape Famine To Dent" - a Trail of Songs & Slavery
New event and venue!!
Storytelling at the Novel Cafe (Market Street)
Free storytelling with Nick Hennessey (12noon to 1pm)
and Dominic Kelly (11.30 to 12.00 and 1pm to 1.30)

Festival Outline :
Friday night consists of an informal gathering in The Glaxo Club in Ulverston town centre in the form of a Cumbrian "merry neet" with dance, song, stories and entertainments from guests and locals alike to get the weekend off to a fine start.
Amounderness Saturday - the main festival day: we take to the streets in Ulverston town centre with music,traditional crafts and dance displays. Various performances, film showing and trade stalls are based in the town’s Coronation Hall. A number of local pubs hold informal sessions during the day.
In the evening the Coronation Hall is the venue for the main festival concert and dance.
Sunday - survivors day with a town centre dance display, then at Lantern House - workshops, session and farewell afternoon concert
