Furness
Tradition Festival will receive hardly any public sector funding for 2012
and will have to be self financing for the foreseeable future. We need your
support to ensure the long term viability of the festival.
Without it we cannot continue.
To this end we invite you to become a Friend of Furness Tradition. There are several levels of "friendship." Each with differing benefits for you. They are listed below. Please take the time to look at these and consider them. We shall be putting the ability to sign up online, but in the meantime there are contact details below.
We are also looking to
identify businesses and individual patrons who are interested in working in
partnership with us to promote and develop the Festival for the benefit of
the community.
The Festival brings a large number of visitors into Ulverston for up to 4
days and the commercial benefit to the town is significant. Notwithstanding
the enrichment it brings to the town’s cultural experience.
